CEO and Management Team

The company’s CEO is in charge of the Group’s business operations and corporate governance in line with the law, Robit Corporation’s Articles of Association as well as instructions and regulations issued by the Board. Detailed terms of employment of the CEO are specified in a separate contract, which has been approved by the Board. Arto Halonen has acted as the company’s CEO as of 15 March, 2022.  The CEO is assisted by the Management Team.

The Management Team handles the main issues that concern managing the company, such as issues related to strategy, budget, interim reports and acquisitions, and prepares investments for approval by the Board of Directors. The Management Team meets, as a rule, once a month and at other times, when necessary.

VP DOWN THE HOLE

KEY POSITIONS

Perttu Aho has worked for Robit as a VP Down the Hole since 17 November 2022. Before his current position, Aho worked for Robit as a General Manager Halco Business since 10 February 2020. Before joining Robit, Aho has worked in environmental technology establishment and development tasks in Asia, environmental technology international trade sales management and distribution channel development tasks, and as an entrepreneur in the engineering industry and contracting business.


GROUP CEO

KEY POSITIONS

Arto Halonen has acted as the CEO of Robit since 15 March 2022. Earlier in his career, he worked as Robit’s Group CFO since 7 May 2020. He has also held the position of Group COO. Halonen joined Robit from Metso where he worked in various management positions, most previously as Vice President, Crushers, Aggregates Equipment Business Area.


VP DISTRIBUTOR SALES

KEY POSITIONS

Ville Iljanko has worked for Robit as a VP Distributor Sales since 1 June 2023. Iljanko joined Robit from Normet, where he worked in global management positions. In addition, Iljanko has worked among others as a CEO of Högfors as well as in several global management positions at Outotec, Alteams and Outokumpu. Iljanko has over 20 years’ experience from leading and developing global services operations and end to end solutions in OEM manufacturing as well as sub-contracting business in among others mining and metal industry.


VP TOP HAMMER

KEY POSITIONS

Jorge Leal has worked for Robit as a VP Top Hammer since 1 January 2021. During his 11-year career at Robit, Leal has worked in several managerial positions in sales. In addition, in 2015–2018 Leal acted as a General Manager of Robit SAC, subsidiary of Robit in Peru, being responsible for establishing and leading the subsidiary. Leal has a comprehensive know-how in business development and Top Hammer product line.


GROUP CFO

KEY POSITIONS

Ville Peltonen has worked for Robit as a Group CFO since 17 November 2022. Before his current position, Peltonen worked for Robit as an interim CFO since 16 March 2022 and before that as a Group Controller since 1 January 2020. Earlier in his career, Peltonen has worked for Nokian Tyres Plc as a Group Financial Manage.


VP GEOTECHNICAL

KEY POSITIONS

Ville Pohja has worked for Robit as a VP Geotechnical since 1 January 2021. Before his current position, Pohja worked for Robit as a Director, Piling Business since 1 April 2018. Pohja joined Robit on 2 February 2015 as a sales and product manager.


GROUP HR DIRECTOR

KEY POSITIONS

Jaana Rinne has acted as a Group HR Director since 29 September 2017. Rinne has over 20 years’ experience of several HR management positions in Konecranes corporation, and in Pöyry corporation as an SVP, HR. She has a comprehensive competence in developing global organisations’ HR strategies, processes and capacity.
